If you’re having a smaller ceremony at Brighton Town Hall, there’s a good chance it’ll be in the lovely downstairs Regency Room – it’s full of charm and perfect for intimate celebrations.
After the ceremony, we’ll usually grab a quick photo of you both on the stairs inside – a classic spot! Then we head straight outside for confetti – it’s best to do it right away, as they often don’t allow you back in once you’ve left the building.
Once the confetti has settled (in your hair, on your shoulders, and all over the pavement!), we’ll do a few relaxed group shots with your guests right outside the front of the town hall. It’s a great time for hugs, happy tears, and a couple of glasses of fizz if someone’s packed them!
After that, your guests are free to head off to lunch, the pub, or wherever you’ve planned next – or they’re very welcome to join us for some of your couple’s portraits too.
We’ll usually start in The Lanes – sometimes we stay just under the pretty bunting, or we might wander right into the maze of quirky streets and shopfronts. From there, we’ll head to the seafront for some shots with Brighton’s iconic West Pier in the background. If you’d love photos on the main pier, we can go there too – just keep in mind it’s often quite busy, and they now charge a small entry fee. And if you’ve booked me for two hours, we can even make it as far as the beautiful Bandstand and the colourful beach huts in Hove for some extra variety.
It’s a relaxed, natural, and fun little adventure – just the two of you (and me with my camera) soaking up all the just-married magic.
Book me for your small Brighton wedding!
