Proud Cabaret Brighton Super Mario Wedding // Kirsty + James

May 11, 2015 | City weddings, TYPE OF WEDDING, Weddings, Weddings

Kirsty and James are computer game designers, so it was only fitting that they had a Super Mario style computer game wedding – literally! They painted wooden blocks (some brown, so with question marks on) and started the ceremony each on a first block (like a platform game) and guests had to correctly answer a question about the bride or groom (or perform a challenge, such as throwing balls into a bucket onstage for the Challenge Blocks) before they could take a step forward towards the “altar”. Kirsty and James then served ice cream from the Vintage Scoops van before having a ceilidh in the evening after a dinner served by Where’s Wallys! The cake had bride and groom computer game heroes for the toppers, and Kirsty’s hair was done in a Game of Thrones style. Kirsty wore DMs and a dress from Minna. Loved this wedding!
