Emily and Olly got married at one of our fave wedding venues – The House Meadow in Biddenden, Kent. Why do we love the House Meadow so much? Hmm it could be the 14 dogs and 5 cats on site. It could be the fact that there’s a huge field acting as a blank canvas for festival style weddings, a flower meadow for photos and multiple ponds, plus a jetty you can get married on. Maybe it’s the fact that the loos have a giant window looking directly into the pony stables. Or maybe it’s the fact that the manager Clare is super lovely and one of the nicest venue managers we’ve worked with. Whatever the reason (it’s mostly the 14 dogs and 5 cats let’s not kid ourselves) we love The House Meadow.
We also love Emily and Olly! They’re so sweet and they have the best taste in food (hmm that could be why they have careers in food!). We loved this wedding, it was full of silliness and laughter and love, and that to us is what a wedding is all about! This wedding was like a mini fete with lawn games (including proper mini golf!!) and a huge BBQ lunch – it was fab.
By the way, there was a cat in the rafters during the ceremony – look closely and you’ll see her!
