Swallows Nest Barn Wedding

Ed and Fii got married on Saturday (Bonfire night!) at Swallows Nest Barn in Warwickshire. The venue is surrounded by wheat fields (now harvested) and sunflower fields (now dead and somehow even more beautiful). Here's a sneak peek of Ed and Fii's wedding:

Fii's dad was reading and making small edits to his father-of-the-bride speech while Fii was getting ready (he was so absorbed by the task that as I got closer to him to get a closer shot, he didn't notice me until I was right in front of him!) Weddings are made up of so many small moments that mean a lot, and this is one of them.

For me, bridal prep is the perfect time to have some fun with the photos. Here, bridesmaid Emma was pulling faces in the mirror while Fii did her makeup using the other side.

I love this flower girl so much, she was a constant source of amusing photo ops.

Check out the bridesmaids on the left, they were singing so loud, it made me laugh so much.

A sparkler line is normally pandemonium with drunk people running around waving sticks of fire, but somehow this was was done perfectly!

Ed and Fii asked if we could do a nighttime portrait, and we were gutted it wasn't raining, but I was so happy with this shot - it's got the homemade bunting framing them while they practised their first dance (and if you look closely you can see their personalised pillows on the right!)
