Rosie and Dave got married at Hookhouse Farm in Surrey last weekend – it was so much fun! I brought my partner and second shooter Todd along for the ride (whose photos feature in this post!) and we had such a laugh and left with full bellies and lots of new friends.
Here’s Rosie and Dave’s story:
“We met in Australia when perusing tinder! Dave’s line ‘fan of a cup of tea’ drew Rosie in!
Dave proposed on Christmas day in 2016 whilst we overlooked the lake in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Advice…. plan early and it’s largely stress free. Don’t attempt to string 1000 paper cranes with 2 weeks to go. Weddings take a village. Accept help, allow your skilled friends to do their thing. Find suppliers you are really excited about and trust them to make it the best day ever. Accept that the last month of wedding planning will see floods of money leave your account. Potentially don’t try and buy a house 2 weeks before either. House stress and wedding stress is a little too much at once!
Why we chose you! You have a ridiculously silly photo of 4 girls pulling faces with their faces smushed up against a window on Instagram. We saw this picture and instantly knew you were the one! We want a wedding that’s fun, informal and full of silliness and we thought that photo encapsulated it perfectly.”
