Isla and Mike got married at Highden Estate in West Sussex, which is a fab walled garden that smells of lavender and has everything from a glamping field to a tree tunnel and veggie patches. They made it super colourful of course!
The ceremony took place outside on the lawn. It’s a legal wedding venue, so you can bring a registrar to marry you **right there in the open!**
There’s a big marquee on the lawn, which they decorated with colourful streamers, and they had a sprinkles cake (I’ve always wanted one of these for my birthday!!), a doughnut wall and an ice cream truck! I’d say it was actually the perfect wedding!
“From the get go we knew we wanted our wedding to be fun, relaxed and vibrant, so we decided to bring in lots of colour and choose an outdoor venue where we could (hopefully!) enjoy some relaxing summertime vibes. We fell in love with the walled garden at Highden Estate as soon as we visited and loved that we could make it our own without having to do much to an already beautiful location!
