I walked into the boys’ hotel room in the morning of April and Jamie’s wedding, and was greeted with a gang of topless, trouser-less men, one mini fan, one bottle of vodka and a steaming iron left on. Welcome to a Brighton wedding in the summer!
Moving on to the girls’ hotel, Artist’s Residence, the atmosphere was total calm and serenity – the opposite to the boys!
April and Jamie got married in Brighton at Duke of Yorks, where they first met working on a film together. “We met on a job, Jamie was directing me in a film. Jamie proposed at Brighton Station which is where we first ever clapped eyes on each other! It was so romantic, he had arranged a fake busker to sing our song as we got off the train. Of course I was totally surprised and it was magic!”
Their party was at Fabrica, an art space that used to be a Regency church. April and Jamie’s first dance was from Grease, and they totally nailed it. Check out that lift… These guys are awesome!
