Abi and Steve basically had the wedding we would have! Quick ceremony, and back to the parents' house for food, and sitting in the sunny garden chatting, followed by more food, and cake, and pudding. Then sending everyone home early. Our dream wedding!
The food was epic - it was by a Brighton vegan caterer called Planted and it was so colourful and full of flavour that I wouldn't hesitate to say it was possibly some of the best food I've had in my life. I'm not vegan but I would be if that was on offer every day! The cake was also excellent, with flavours such as lemon and thyme, and there were no less than 4 desserts and 3 cake flavours on offer.
It's safe to say we stuck around a little bit after clocking off to taste the puddings with a cuppa (and a lovely natter with Abi's dad who photographed a wedding himself recently, as well as taking epic travel photos).
We had a bit of a pickle afterwards as our car got locked in the college car park we were parked in - but a lovely man with a key came and rescued us and we made it home, where we had cornflakes for dinner because seriously how can you cook something after that epic food and actually enjoy it...?
