Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe Devon is one of the most incredible wedding venues in the country - if you'd like to get married abroad but have to stay in the UK, then this is the place to go. They get booked up SUPER fast though, so get in there quick.
The ceremonies take place outdoors at the top of a cliff, with the private beach below (or indoors if it's raining, in a room overlooking the bay). Speeches and the wedding breakfast can take place either outside or inside - I've shot both and they're equally stunning options. If you get a good sunset that day you're in for a treat (see the photos!).
We love doing wedding portraits on the tidal pool wall - and luckily it's visible from 3 hours before low tide to 3 hours after, so lots of opportunities for a sunset tidal pool photo at Tunnels!
We also think if you can have your speeches and dinner outside, do it! Lynne and Jon did, and it made for glorious photos. If you have it all indoors you also get epic views - you can't go wrong really.
You can even have your first dance outside, like Seren and Joe did.
You can fit 120 days guests and 160 evening. There's also Bath House and a couple of woodland style houses so you can stay right next door the night before and after.
