This wedding was so stunning - we lucked out with the weather, the skies were blue, the sun was shining and the seagulls were squawking.
Yannika and Shane live in Switzerland, and travelled all the way to sunny Kent to get married at East Quay in Whitstable. It was a glorious September day by the seaside, and when I arrived Yannika was having her makeup done by Shane's lovely mum.
The ceremony took place upstairs at venue, overlooking the ocean, and the reception was outdoors on the beach. The speeches had me welling up behind the camera (the song from the bride's cousin and sister was meant to be funny but I still got all soppy!).
The venue themselves didn't hold back on the seaside theme - the oyster shucker was providing delicious fresh Whitstable oysters for everyone and the buffet spread was delicious - these guys do great food (fish and chips later in the evening is their specialty).
