This wedding ceremony took place at Angel House in Brighton, with the party at Brighton Music Hall on the beach. The funniest moment at this wedding was when we were wandering Brighton seafront doing couples portraits and we came across another wedding couple having their portraits on the bandstand after their ceremony up there. We decided it would be really fun and cool to go say hi and get a pic with the couple. We bounced up to them all excited, said congratulations and asked for a pic with them. “Quickly then” is what the other bride responded. Seriously! You can see in the photo she’s giving Suzie some evil side eye action. So when they were gone we went up to their registry table and Suzie and Dan did an impression of them. It was amazing. We then found the shipping container with all of Miserable Bride’s ceremony decorations…
These guys got married at Angel House in Brighton, then bought all their guests Mr Whippy ice creams and walked down the beach en masse to the Brighton Music Hall, right on the beach, for the party. Which was awesome.
Brighton Music Hall is a fab wedding venue – it’s right on the beach and you can even have tipis out on the beach for your reception if the bar is too small. The bar has an upstairs which is great for a medium-sized wedding, and it even has a little dancefloor, but the venue is quite narrow so there’s lots of squeezing to get to the other end!
