Casey and Perry found me all on their own. A bit of Googling, a look through my photos and boom, booked. Lovely, right? But here's the bit I'll never get over.
A while later my brother was chatting to some mates who were getting married and said "oh, my sister's a wedding photographer, you should book her." And they said "oh no thanks, we've already got an awesome photographer we love. Anna Pumer." To which my brother shouted "THAT'S MY SISTER!!!"
Yep. Casey and Perry are friends with my brother. They had no idea. Small world doesn't even cover it hahaha.
The day
So off I went to Gaynes Park in Essex for a wedding that already felt like family. It's such a gorgeous spot, a big beautiful barn surrounded by fields, and it gave us loads of space to play with all day.
Confetti
Confetti time! Their guests did not hold back and I love them for it.
Sunset field portraits
When the sun started going down we sneaked off into the fields for some portraits. Except it wasn't really sneaking, because their mates came too and heckled the whole time. Every kiss got a big "woooo" from the sidelines. It was so funny and it meant every laugh in these is completely real.
The dancefloor
And then the dancefloor. Wow. Shirts came off, ties went round heads, shots were flowing and nobody sat down all night. It was absolute chaos in the very best way. Michael Scott would've wanted an invite.
Casey and Perry, thank you for picking me (twice, technically). Ahh, what a day!
