A commercial branding photoshoot in Margate with music PR come music careers advisor Erika. Erika is leaving her day job to pursue a business in music careers advice and came to me for branding headshots so she could stand out from the crowd and show her professional side
This portrait shoot took place close to my home in Margate, Kent, with the awesome and gorgeous Erika, a music careers advisor. Erika is one of those people who just gets it. She's down to earth, real, and great company. She's at the start of her freelance advisor career and I know she'll be hugely successful.
To keep the theme of music, we started at Cliffs in Margate, which is a cafe and record shop. It has a great vibe and gorgeous light, so was perfect for taking creative headshots.
We then went to Mar Mar, a cute trendy cafe on the same street which sells tea by the bowl and gorgeous hand painted plant pots and greetings cards. We then wandered down to the seafront to Radio Margate, which is a cafe and radio station (I don't think "just a cafe" exists in Margate) - they had gorgeous vintage teacups and daffodils, which looked great in the photos.
Over the course of three hours we bumped into three people I know from Crossfit - Margate is a small town! One of my Crossfit buddies even makes an appearance in Erika's headshots!
