Fliss and Greg got married at the super impressive Bodleian Library in Oxford, and had their party at Freud’s Cafe. It was a stinking hot day but no one melted! We were just excited to be shooting somewhere new – not just the venues but the city. We love exploring new places and getting creative in unknown spaces.
Fliss and Greg booked all their suppliers based on the fact that they looked fun and would fit into the day as guests. Well, they succeeded! We felt like part of it, and Sarah from Tiny Sarah’s Cakes and Nina and Katie the co-odinators from Occasion Queens and the paella folks (they were SO joyful it was catching!) fitted right in too! In fact Sarah the cake maker and I had matching unicorn hair, which also matched the cakes! Talking of which, that had to be the most epic display of wedding cakes I’ve ever seen. Of course, I tried a bit of everything!
The couple were so lovely and smiley and fun and you could just tell they enjoyed every second of the day. They’re so chilled and I think that’s the key to really enjoying your wedding – not worry about anything!
Here’s their fab Oxford wedding:
