What is a day in the life shoot?
Your life is chaotic. There is mess everywhere, a permanent pile of laundry in the bedroom, chocolate smeared on the walls and an argument about something inane every half hour. But when it’s gone you’ll miss it.
Having your everyday life documented gives you something to remember. From having breakfast to the daily visit to grandma’s, to bathtime and storytime, everything is documented to look back on in the years to come. A slice of life, the normal things that are your favourite memories. The chocolate on the chin, the silly faces pulled, the big squishy kisses and the cheeky looks.
Your memories of your everyday are the meaningful ones, the ones that make you the happiest.
A day in the life shoot involves you doing what you do every day, with me there documenting it all. No getting dressed up all fancy, no posing, no awful studio photos. I’ll turn up before the kids wake up and/or leave when they go to bed. Or join you for a well deserved glass of wine 😉
Why should we have a day in the life shoot?
In years to come you can look back at that awful wallpaper you had in your first home, the kitchen you lovingly refitted and the memory of how the light filled the living room as your son watched his favourite tv show while your daughter babbled happily in her dad’s arms. Everyday life is the most beautiful.
Details
A half day shoot (4 hours) is £1200. Around 200 digital images are included. A booking fee of 50% is required to hold the date. The day is very chilled, and at no point will you have to pose or do anything other than live your normal life!
Pricing is for East Sussex – shoots further afield may incur travel/overnight costs. I’m based near Uckfield.
ALBUMS
An 10x10inch album is £400 (a fancy one with a leather/cotton cover, not a stick photos on the pages one!) and will include 180 or 270 photos of your choice (depending on how large you’d like the images), spread evenly over 30 pages.
VIDEO
You can also choose a video option (comes with a small selection of photos so you have something to put on the wall) instead of photos, which is the same price and you’ll receive a 5-minute video.
