Helen and Jonny are one our many Covid postponement couples! Like many others though, they decided enough is enough, to hell with it – we’re getting married anyway! So on Thursday they did it!
Helen warmed to the idea of a teeny wedding as time went on – we both got quite excited about the idea of a wander around Brighton getting fun photos, and in the end they had 4 guests (her parents and his mates), plus me and Todd, and it was so much fun. We all got on really well, and I can’t wait to see everyone again at the big party!
They had a super-quick ceremony at Brighton Town Hall, which was wed-cast to all their friends and family, and they brought a LOT of confetti to make up for the lack of people (dad shot Jonny in the back with a confetti cannon, and you can see Jonny’s reaction in the photos!) They also brought a balloon for every guest who couldn’t make it due to restrictions, which was not only a lovely touch but great for colourful photos.
We wandered down to the beach for drinks, followed by a walk up the pier, where we left them to have dinner, while we met up with a past couple Rachel and Steve for dinner (I love staying friends with my couples!). We were only shooting for about 2.5 hours but we packed a lot in!!
